Footwork drills look boring until the match, when every step lands without thought. Laro77 mahjong ways rewards the same kind of practice: learn how one win turns into a chain, and the rest of the game follows. This page breaks the slot into four parts you can rehearse one at a time.
Mahjong Ways is a PG Soft title. In the LARO77 lobby, PG Soft is filed as “Pocket Games Soft” in the Slot lane.
LARO77 Mahjong Ways in Four Parts
PG Soft’s game page, read on 30 October 2026, lists these figures.
| Scouting stat | Mahjong Ways figure | Use it to |
|---|---|---|
| Top win on PG Soft’s page | x25000 | Put one peso value on the ceiling, then set it aside |
| Return over the long run | 96.92% | Compare titles, never to predict tonight |
| Risk label | Medium | Size the stake for a long session |
| Grid and ways | 5 by 4, evaluated as 1,024 ways | Know why wins can come from many positions |
| Scatter rule | 3 open 12 spins; every extra one adds 2 | Count the round’s length as scatters land |
| Feature multiplier | Climbs to a top rung of x10 | Expect the big results inside the round |
Part 1: the cascade
Every win empties its tiles off the grid, and new ones fall to fill the holes. If the new tiles form another win, the chain continues. One spin can therefore pay several times before it ends.
Part 2: golden tiles
Some tiles land with a gold finish. PG Soft’s description covers a wild symbol transformation, and gold tiles are how it happens: after a win they can flip into wilds, which keeps the chain alive.
Part 3: the scatter count
Three scatters start 12 free spins. A fourth scatter adds 2, and so does each one after that. Count them as they land, so the number of spins in the round never comes as a surprise.
Part 4: the multiplier ladder
Inside the free spins, the multiplier steps up as the cascades continue, to a top rung of x10. A long chain inside the round is where the large results come from; short chains add up slowly.
Mahjong Ways Features Next to Its Sequel
The original and its sequel share a theme and a volatility label. The numbers underneath them differ, and that matters when you choose between them.
| Side by side | First game | The sequel |
|---|---|---|
| Ceiling | x25000 | x100000 |
| Ways counted | 1,024 | 2,000 |
| Rows on the middle three reels | Four | Five |
| Long-run return | 96.92% | 96.95% |
| Risk label on both | Medium | Medium |
What the comparison tells a player
- Same label, different ceiling. Both read Medium, but the sequel’s x100000 top win means more of its value is held in rare outcomes.
- The RTP gap is tiny. Three hundredths of a percentage point will not show up in an evening.
- The original is the cleaner lesson. Fewer ways makes each cascade easier to follow by eye.
Finding the right tile in the lobby
- Open the Slot lane and pick Pocket Games Soft from its studio list.
- Look for the exact name “Mahjong Ways” in that studio’s titles.
- Check the title on the loading screen. If it reads “2” or “Hit”, you have opened a different game.
- Open the rules panel and confirm the 12-spin scatter rule before the first stake.
Ready for the sequel? The Mahjong Ways 2 changes, part by part picks up where this page stops.
To compare it with other studio titles, see the first-session PG Soft shortlist, and the PG Soft feature-round explainer separates in-game free spins from lobby offers. The PG Soft scouting hub for LARO77 lists every title page.

How to Get Started
-
Read the paytable before spin one
Open Mahjong Ways' rules panel in the lobby and find the scatter rule and the multiplier ladder, so the free spins do not arrive as a surprise.
-
Track one cascade chain
On your first ten spins, count how many times the tiles clear and refill after a single win; that chain is what the multiplier rewards.
-
End the drill at a set count
Cool-down rule: fix a spin count up front, end there even if the round never arrived, and log how it went for the next session.
