Problem: overtime. A game tied after regulation goes to extra time, and the final score changes.

Drill: settle three tickets by hand

2. Team B +4.5 at 1.90: Team B lost by 4, inside the handicap, so it returns ₱190.
3. Under 170.5 at 1.90: the total is 172, so it loses and returns nothing.

Getting all three right without looking back means the logic is in place. One wrong answer means another round of the drill.

For a second round, change the score to 90–84 and settle the same three tickets again. Team A now wins by 6, so the Team B +4.5 ticket loses, and a total of 174 still means the under loses. Switching one number and re-settling is how the spread logic becomes automatic.
