Published feesThe cash-in page at Maya states a free allowance of PHP 8,000 per month combined for cash-in via selected partners, then 2 per cent on the excess. Maya’s own site is the source of that figure, yet it was not re-fetched during verification, which gives it less weight than the directly read GCash schedule above.

Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. As GCash states it, the ceiling is a balance held at any given time. Each of the two numbers measures something different, so a side-by-side comparison of them is not meaningful, no matter how often it is presented as one.

Figures here were recorded 2026-09 and reflect that point in time. Limits and fees change at the payment providers without any warning, so the provider’s own page is the sole current source.

What Maya says about gambling transactions

Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions, read directly, say nothing specific about gambling and include just general bans on illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches. Suspension or cancellation of the card is the stated consequence in its CREDIT CARD terms, a separate product, which do list ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’ as a restricted transaction. BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 covered Maya too, in August 2025, and the app’s gambling and gaming links were removed accordingly. It matters that the two products are distinct: what a credit card agreement restricts is not restricted on the wallet.

Verification tiers

  • Basic — Monthly, the wallet limit is PHP 50,000; daily, the purchase limit is also PHP 50,000. At this tier, you cannot make InstaPay bank transfers, and you cannot send to other Maya users either
  • Upgraded — You need to provide a video selfie, valid ID and verified address. A wallet limit of PHP 100,000 per month, with purchases up to PHP 100,000 each day, sends to a Maya user capped at PHP 20,000 per transaction and PHP 100,000 each day, and InstaPay out at PHP 50,000 daily and PHP 100,000 monthly
  • Super Users — The wallet holds up to PHP 500,000 monthly, and purchases and sends are each limited to PHP 500,000 per day. The criteria that put an account in this tier are not published by Maya.
  • Ultimate Users — A PHP 5,000,000 wallet limit applies per month, alongside PHP 5,000,000 daily limits on purchases and sends. The criteria that put an account in this tier are not published by Maya.

The published ceiling of Starting from PHP 50,000 at Basic, the monthly figure is PHP 100,000 for the Upgraded tier, PHP 500,000 for Super Users and PHP 5,000,000 for Ultimate Users applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.

How fast money actually moves

Maya settles arriving in real time over wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay, while PESONet settles within that same banking day. This covers the rail only, not the casino, because an operator may hold a withdrawal for its own review before Maya ever sees it, and that review is usually the source of the waiting time.

A per-transaction cap of Upgraded tier: PHP 20,000 per transaction to another Maya user, and an InstaPay transfers-out cap of PHP 50,000 per day applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.
