Everything below is quoted from GCash captures saved on 6, 7 and 11 October 2026, which all print the same figures, so the limits are as GCash’s page stated them on those dates. GCash 500k limit: what GCash’s page prints
GCash’s page “What are my GCash wallet and transaction limits?” says: “To give you more flexibility with your transactions, GCash wallet limits have been updated effective October 1, 2026.” Its table shows PHP 500,000 in the Fully Verified column in four places, and its increase page says “If you are an adult with a Basic account, you can increase your limit to PHP 500,000. Get fully verified to increase your limits.”

GCash’s page also lists 5M and 10M columns for eligible customers, subject to approval. GCash Jr. is for fully verified users aged 7 to 17, and a minor with a Basic account can reach a PHP 100,000 wallet limit by getting fully verified.
How to raise a GCash limit, step by step
GCash’s route to the 500k wallet limit is verification, not a request form. The steps below combine its limits page and its verification page.
- Update the GCash app, log in and tap Profile > Profile Limits.
- Read the limits for your account type in the table above.
- Tap Profile > Verify Now, then Get Started, and read the reminders. GCash says you need 1 valid government ID.
- Enter the 6-digit code sent to your number, enter your birthday and confirm you are a Filipino citizen, scan your ID, take a selfie scan, review your info and tap Submit.
- Wait for GCash’s SMS update, which it says comes after 3 days, then open Profile Limits again.
GCash decides every verification. Nothing on its page promises that a limit will be raised.
GCash linked accounts and how limits apply
On the limits page, GCash says adult users can create up to five (5) accounts, which are automatically linked to one customer profile, and minors can have one account per profile. For two or more linked accounts, it says “The highest wallet and transaction limits apply to all your accounts.”

GCash daily limit and monthly limit
GCash prints both kinds of line, so read the one you are near. For a Basic account the daily lines say “No limit” but the monthly lines are PHP 5,000, so the monthly line is the one that stops you. For a Fully Verified account the daily outgoing line is PHP 500,000 and the monthly outgoing line is PHP 500,000.
GCash says that if you reach a limit, “you can’t use certain services until it resets on the 1st day of the following month or you upgrade your profile.” It adds that separate limits may apply to certain GCash services and that GCash “may update, set limits, or pause account limits to follow BSP regulations and anti-money laundering mandates”. A worked example, with round numbers chosen here: a Basic wallet that has received PHP 3,000 this month has PHP 2,000 of its PHP 5,000 monthly incoming line left.
