GCash Express Send is the wallet’s way of moving money between GCash users, and it turns up in every conversation about topping up a casino from a phone. It is a personal transfer, and a personal transfer is not a deposit. The page on a deposit screen’s payment channel shows the route that is a deposit; this page shows what Express Send is and why it fails as one. You must be 21+ to play, and every figure below is GCash’s own, quoted from its saved help pages.

What GCash Express Send is

GCash’s help page “What is Express Send?”, read on 11 October 2026, says: “Express Send lets users send money to other GCash users. This feature is for Fully Verified accounts.” For GCash Overseas, the page adds that you can only send to Fully Verified GCash accounts in the Philippines.

GCash’s page “How to send money to another GCash account” (saved 7 October 2026) lists the steps.

  1. On your GCash app, tap Send.
  2. Select Express Send.
  3. Enter the recipient’s GCash account using QR or number, then tap Next.
  4. Check the details and tick the box.
  5. Tap Send.

Notice what the steps ask for: a person’s GCash account, by number or QR. Nothing in them asks for a merchant, a reference to match or a payment made for someone else’s system.

GCash Express Send limits

GCash’s page “What is the Express Send Transaction Limit?”, read on 11 October 2026, puts the limits in transaction counts.

ItemWhat GCash’s page says
Monthly allowance500 send and 500 receive transactions
After both are usedNo Express Send for the rest of the month; limits reset at the start of the next month
Eligible power usersSend Money+ continues sending and receiving; each succeeding transaction costs PHP 5
Send Money+ wallet limitPHP 3 million monthly
Removing the limits“You cannot remove Express Send limits from your GCash account.”

Separately, your wallet’s own limits still apply: on GCash’s limits page (read 11 October 2026) a Basic profile has a PHP 5,000 monthly outgoing limit, and a Fully Verified one PHP 500,000. For how the tiers compare, the page on GCash casino limits and fees collects the published figures.

Express Send against a merchant payment, a QR and a deposit channel

The three ways to move money differ in who receives it, which is the whole question for a deposit.

RouteWho receivesReference to matchIf you make a mistake
GCash Express SendA person’s GCash account, by number or QRNone tied to a lobby paymentPer GCash: transfers are real-time; reversal only if the account is inactive or not in use
Paying a QR to a merchantThe party named on the GCash confirmation screenThe payment’s reference number on the receiptPer GCash: use Get Help from the transaction
Deposit-screen channelReceiving details generated for your paymentThe reference number you save plus your screenshotGive both to the lobby’s Customer Service button

The QR route has its own page: paying a GCash QR code lists the checks. The distinction that matters is the third column. A personal send has no reference tying it to a LARO77 payment, so the lobby has nothing to match it with.

Why a personal send is the wrong way to fund a casino account

Three facts add up to one rule.

  1. No receiving details for your payment. The deposit screen makes them. A friend’s number or a saved QR is somebody else’s wallet.
  2. A typo is a completed transfer. GCash’s page “Sent money to wrong number” says Express Send and Send Money transfers are done in real time and that you must check your transaction details before sending.
  3. The lobby credits only what its own channel receives. A payment that arrives anywhere else is a transfer between two people, whatever message you attach.

The same rule keeps you away from scams that ask for a “quick send” to release a deposit. If anyone asks for a personal transfer, close the chat and protect the wallet with GCash security settings. What GCash and the Bangko Sentral say about gambling payments sits on the page about GCash gambling payments.

What GCash says to do after a wrong number

Problem

You sent money to the wrong number through Express Send or Send Money.

Fix

GCash’s page “Sent money to wrong number” (read on 11 October 2026) says GCash can only reverse transactions if the account is inactive or not in use. If you sent to the wrong person, contact them and ask them to send your money back. If you sent to an old or inactive number, refunds are done on a best-effort basis: go to your Transactions, tap the Send Money transaction, then tap Get help and choose “I sent money to the wrong number”. GCash says you can expect an update within 1-3 business days and asks you to report disputes within 15 days of the transaction.

The full walk-through lives on the page about a GCash wrong send.

Use only the channel list on the deposit screen

  1. Log in and open Deposit.
  2. Read the channel list and pick one.
  3. Read the minimum and maximum the screen prints, then enter the exact amount.
  4. Pay only to the receiving details generated for this payment.
  5. Save the reference number and a screenshot.

Never improvise a route because it feels faster. If no channel suits your wallet, wait or choose another, and ask the Customer Service button what is open.

FAQ

What is GCash Express Send?

GCash's help page says Express Send lets users send money to other GCash users, and that the feature is for Fully Verified accounts. It is a person-to-person transfer inside GCash.

Can I fund my LARO77 account with GCash Express Send?

Use only a channel from the list on the deposit screen. A personal send has no receiving details generated for your payment, so there is nothing for the lobby to match. Pick a channel on the deposit screen instead.

What is the Express Send limit?

GCash's help page, read on 11 October 2026, says you get 500 send and 500 receive transactions each month. When both are used you cannot use Express Send until the limits reset at the start of the next month.
