Hopeline is the crisis line of the Natasha Goulbourn Foundation, a Philippine mental health organisation. Its own site is where the current numbers and hours live, so take them from there and not from a reposted list. This page prints no Hopeline number.
For the help lines whose own saved pages show their details, it prints the number exactly as the body prints it, so you can call one now. If you are asking about your own play, read a problem gambler’s warning signs as well.
What Hopeline is and where to get its number
Hopeline is a crisis line, which means it fits a bad night more than a plan for stopping gambling. Use this short checklist to get its number safely.
- Open the Natasha Goulbourn Foundation’s own site.
- Copy the numbers shown there on the day you call.
- Save them in your phone before you need them.
- If a number you found elsewhere differs, the foundation’s site wins.
Use the same rule for every line on this page: the body’s own page is the source, and this page only points to it.
Gambling hotline Philippines: the lines that print their details
For a gambling call, these are the help lines whose details sit on their own pages or on PAGCOR’s. Numbers and hours are quoted as each page prints them.
| Body | What it is | Number and hours as printed | Source page |
|---|---|---|---|
| PAGCOR Responsible Gaming | The regulator’s line for exclusion requests and help | (02) 8248-9568, or email ResponsibleGaming@pagcor.ph; no hours printed | PAGCOR exclusion page |
| National Problem Gambling (NPGH) | PAGCOR-accredited help centre | Landline (02) 8248 9568, email support@npgh.ph; no hours printed | PAGCOR responsible gaming page |

| Gamblers Anonymous Philippines | Peer fellowship with face-to-face and Zoom meetings | +63 915 938 2808, and PAGCOR prints 0915 938 2808; its page lists a daily Zoom meeting at 6:30-8:00 pm, GMT+8 | gaphilippines.com and PAGCOR |

In Touch’s own page also gives counseling hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm, and says counseling outside office hours depends on counselor availability. The NCMH numbers come from the Department of Health’s Cordillera office page, which also points to a list of regional crisis hotlines. For a number not in this table, ask the body itself, on its own site.
Which line to call first
Pick by what you need in the next hour.
- In distress right now: call a crisis line, In Touch or NCMH, and say that gambling is part of it.
- Want to stop, or to talk about your losses: call PAGCOR’s responsible gaming number or Gamblers Anonymous Philippines.
- Worried about a family member: call Gam-Anon Philippines.
- Want a ban on licensed venues and sites: ask PAGCOR about its exclusion programme, whose steps sit with the account closure steps.
What happens when you call
Someone listens. You do not need a plan, a diagnosis or the right words, and you can say you are calling about gambling or about someone else’s. A typical call goes like this:
- A responder answers and asks how you are.
- You say what is going on, in your own words and at your own speed.
- The responder listens and tells you what help exists near you.
- You decide the next step, and you can hang up whenever you like.
Gamblers Anonymous describes itself on its own page as a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other. Its meetings are peer support, not treatment, and its page says to call or write for immediate assistance.
What to prepare before you dial
You can call with nothing, but five minutes of preparation makes the call easier.
- Write down your own net loss figure for the month: deposits minus withdrawals minus the balance left. Say the number out loud on the call.
- Note the name of the site, how long you have played, and how often.
- Decide who you will tell afterwards, and tell them the same day.
- Have a pen and your wallet’s transaction history open if you want to check amounts.
- Put your phone on a charger, and call from a place where you can talk.
A run of wins is not a reason to hold off: read why a lucky streak happens as ordinary arithmetic, and call anyway.
In an emergency
If you or someone near you is in immediate danger, do not wait on a help line.
- Go to the nearest emergency room, or call your local emergency services.
- Stay with the person until help arrives.
- Call a crisis line from the table once the danger has passed.
The Department of Health page that carries the NCMH numbers says the same in its own words: if you or anyone you know is in danger of self-harm, contact emergency services or a crisis line.
After the call
A call is the first step, not the whole plan. Within a day, work through this list:
- Ask to close the account, with the steps in an account closure request.
- Follow the site blocker setup page for every device.
- Read responsible play at 21+ for the rules.
- Keep the help-line table where you can find it.
